How to Make North Indian Style Veg Pulao

  • 1 Cup Boiled Basmati Rice.
  • 2 Small Finely Chopped Onions.
  • 2 Finely Chopped Tomatoes.
  • 1 Medium Size Finely Chopped Carrot.
  • 1 Finely Chopped Capsicum.
  • 3 tbsp boiled green peas.
  • 1 Finely Chopped Beetroot.
  • 2 tbsp Cashew Nuts and Raisins.
  • 1 tbsp Finely Chopped Green Garlic.
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds.
  • 2 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste.
  • 2 Finely Chopped Green Chillies.
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder.
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder.
  • 2 tbsp Pulao Masala.
  • 2 tbsp Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves.
  • Salt according to taste.
  • 2 tbsp Oil.


  • Heat oil in a nonstick pan, in hot oil add cumin seeds, when cumin seeds starts slathering add chopped onions and carrots.
  • Cook it for little time then add chopped capsicum and let it cook for few seconds.
  • Now add ginger garlic paste along with green chillies and cook the mixture well.
  • Now add tomatoes and mix well and cook for 1 minute then add turmeric powder, kashmiri red chilli powder, pulao masala, salt and mix all the ingredients well.
  • Now add green peas and beetroot and cook it for 30 seconds.
  • Now add cashew nuts and raisins and mix well then add boiled basmati rice along with green garlic and mix rice well with other spices.
  • Now add coriander leaves mix well and serve the delicious pulao and enjoy.
