How to Make Spinach Besan Noodles | Palak Sev Recipe

  • 50 gm Spinach.
  • 150 gm Gram Flour or Besan.
  • 3 Green Chillies.
  • 1/8 tsp Rock Salt or Halite.
  • ¼ tsp Chaat Masala.
  • ½ tsp Red Chilli Powder.
  • Salt as per taste.
  • 3 tbsp Oil.
  • Oil for Frying.


  • Put spinach, green chillies and about 2-3 tbsp water in a mixer jar and blend it to make coarse mixture and take out the paste in a bowl.
  • Now add in oil and with the help of hand blender mix the paste well.
  • Now add in salt, rock salt or halite, chaat masala, red chilli powder and mix well.
  • Now add in gram flour in paste and knead dough from it, make sure that consistency of dough should be like as you can make sev from it.
  • Now take a mould and put thin hole net in mould and fill it with gram flour and spinach dough.
  • Now heat oil in a kadai then make sev in hot oil and fry sev till become cook nicely from both sides.
  • Now take out spinach sev in a plate and let it cool for few minutes then put the sev in an air tight container and enjoy.
