  • 100 gm Mixed Moong Dal and Rice.
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder.
  • Water as per required.
  • Salt as per taste.


  • Heat water in a pressure cooker, add in salt and turmeric powder, bring it to boil.
  • Now add in dal and rice mixture and cook it till all the water get absorbed and rice and dal become dry, delicious Khichdi is ready, serve hot.
