Dry roast sesame seeds till it releases good aroma.
Cool it down and make fine powder of it.
Add jaggery and cardamom powder in sesame powder, again blend it well.
Make small balls from the mixture.
Heat water and bring it to boil.
Add rice flour to it and stir it well.
Cover it and keep it a side.
Knead crack free dough from it and make eleven equal size of balls from dough.
Roll puri from the dough balls.
Put balls made earlier at the centre of puri and bring all edges together and give modak shape to it.
Steam modak in a steamer for around 8-10 minutes.
Serve it hot or cold as you wish.
