How to Make Veg Pakora Recipe.

Hey guys is another fantastic and amazing Indian fast food recipe for you. It is very well known as Veg Pakora, as the name defines its ingredients that it is made from different kinds of vegetables and different kind of flour. Usually gram flour is used for making pakoras or fritters but in this delicious and mouthwatering veg pakora we have used a very different flour, and you don’t have to worry about flour because you can easily make flour at home we have given detailed method to make flour in this article.

This Indian fritters recipe is really very simple and easy to make as well as quick too. You can have this easy veg pakora with coriander chutney or mint chutney or tomato ketchup whichever you like. In India peoples makes pakodas and bhajiyas more and more in monsoon season, in running rain hot fritters and a cup of tea makes the mood fresh every time. So let’s start making this easy and quick veg pakora.

Ingredients for Flour:

250 gm Jowar/Sorghum.
250 gm Ragi/Finger Millet.
250 gm Rice.
125 gm Wheat.
125 gm Bajra/Pearl Millet.
125 gm Chana Dal/Split Bengal Gram.
125 gm Hari Moong/Green Moong Beans.
125 gm Whole Masoor/Split Red Lentil.
125 gm Matki/Moth Beans.
125 gm Soyabean/Soybean.
6 tbsp Coriander Seeds.
2-3 tbsp Cumin Seeds.

Preparations for Flour:

  • Dry roast all the ingredients one by one till they get light golden brown and realease aroma.
  • Use heavy bottom pan for roasting cereals.
  • After roasting, keep them aside and let them cool completely.
  • Mix all the ingredients very well.
  • Now grind them in a mixer blender and make fine powder.
  • Store it in an airtight container. (You can use it for make Thalipeeth also).

Ingredients for Veg Pakora Recipe:

Main Ingredients:

1 Cup Flour (made earlier).
½ Potato.
¼ Cup Cauliflower.
¼ Cup Cabbage.
1 ½ Cup Sliced Onions.

Spices/Other Ingredients:

5 Sliced Spinach Leaves.
1-2 Chopped Green Chillies.
2 tsp Oil.
1 tsp Ground Cumin.
½ tsp Salt.
½ Cup Water.

Garnishing/Serving:

Coriander Chutney or Mint Chutney.
Tomato Ketchup.

Veg Pakora Recipe Preparations:

  • Boil the potato until it tenders, peel and chop potato finely.
  • Chop onion and cauliflower finely.
  • Shred the cabbage and chop spinach then put both in a mixing bowl.
  • Add flour, oil, ground cumin and salt.
  • Add little water and mix it well to make nice batter from it.
  • Give rest to batter for 30 minutes, keep it in a warm place.
  • After 30 minutes add vegetables to batter and mix it well.
  • Heat oil for deep frying the pakoras.
  • Fry the pakoras till they become golden brown and crispy from every side.
  • Drain the excess oil from pakoras and serve them hot with coriander or mint chutney and tomato ketchup.
