How to Make Sev Puri at Home | Indian Fast Food | Street Food.

Hello friends today here we are with a very famous Indian street food recipe which belongs to Maharashtrian cuisine (Mumbai). This fast food recipe is well known as sev puri which is very similar to dahi puri but the only difference is that curd in not used in this. Mainly it is prepared from golgappa or pani puris puri, sev, some chutneys and spices. It is really very simple and easy to make plus requires very few minutes to prepare is well.

You can make this quick sev puri any time during the and anywhere you want just you need is readily available ingredients. The best thing about this street food recipe is that it don’t require cooking or fire to prepare as it is no fire recipe. In the chaat family this sev puri has much craze and people are fond of having it. Along with this you may also like dahi vada, gujarati bhel, chole chana chaat etc……

Ingredients for Sev Puri:

Main Ingredients:

10-12 Puris of Pani Puri.
Besan Sev as per required.
2 Small Boiled and Chopped Potatoes.
2 tbsp Finely Chopped Onion.
2 tbsp Finely Chopped Tomato.

Other Spices/Ingredients:

2-3 tbsp Black Chana.
Green Chutney as per required.
Jaggery Tamarind Chutney as per required.
Garlic Chutney as per required.
1 tsp Chaat Masala.
½ tsp Rock Salt.

Garnishing:

Some Coriander Leaves.

Sev Puri Preparations:

  • Take a serving plate then put puri in plate and make a hole at centre of every puri.
  • Now put boiled chopped potatoes, tomatoes, onion and black chana in the puri.
  • Now sprinkle some chaat masala, black salt or rock salt then put little green chutney, jaggery tamarind chutney, garlic chutney.
  • Finally put lots of besan sev on top of every puri and garnish with some coriander leaves and serve.
