Hey guys today here we are with a super delicious and very healthy kheer recipe, which is known as rajgira seeds kheer, usually kheer is made from rice, broken wheat, milk etc, but this kheer is very different from others, as it is prepared from rajgira seeds which is a very healthy and rich in protein ingredient, plus milk, ghee sugar and some dry fruits, totally it is a very nutritious Indian sweet dish.

Ingredients for Rajgira Seeds Kheer:

Main Ingredients:

½ Cup Puffed Rajgira.
4 Cups Milk.

Other Spices/Ingredients:

2 Green Cardamoms.
½ Cup Sugar.
2 tbsp Ghee.
Some Blenched Almonds and Pistachios.

Rajgira Seeds Kheer Preparations:

  • In a heavy bottom pan heat milk and bring it to boil.
  • Reduce the flame and let it simmer for around 30 minutes.
  • Stir it continuously so the milk get reduced.
  • Now crush the green cardamom, heat ghee in another pan.
  • Add rajgira and roast it slightly then add milk and bring to boil.
  • Now cook it for 5 minutes at a medium flame.
  • Now add cardamom powder, sugar and simmer it for another 5 minutes.
  • Add almonds and pistachios slices, stir well and remove from the flame.
  • Serve the hot and delicious rajgira kheer and enjoy with your kids.
