How to Make Sing Bhujia at Home | Crispy Snack Recipe.

Hello friends today here is another tempting and mouth clicking snacks recipe for you from gujarati cuisine. This snack food dish is well known as sing bhujia or sing bhujiya. Mainly it is prepared from roasted peanuts, gram flour, rice flour and some other spices. It is really very simple and easy to make plus requires very less time to cook is well. While making this bhujia you have to make sure that batter should be thick as much as can stick to peanuts.

Second thing while frying bhujia flame of the gas should be medium low otherwise they’ll burnt and not taste good. You can prepare this yummy and crispy masala peanuts any time during the day and serve with hot cup or tea. Along with this you may also like some other Indian snacks recipes like peanut snack, picnic snack, bhel, ragda patties etc……

Ingredients for Sing Bhujia:

Main Ingredients:

100 gm Roasted Peanuts.
50 gm Gram Flour.
3 tbsp Rice Flour.

Other Spices/Ingredients:

1 tsp Clove Powder.
1 tsp Pepper Powder.
1 tsp Garam Masala.
1 tsp Chaat Masala.
½ tsp Rock Salt or Halite or Kala Namak.
1 Pinch Soda.
½ tsp Red Chilli Powder.
Salt according to taste.
Oil for frying.

For Sprinkling Masala:

1 tsp Chaat Masala.
1 tsp Garam Masala.
1 tsp Rock Salt or Halite or Kala Namak.
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder.

Sing Bhujia Preparations:

  • Put gram flour and rice flour in a bowl then add in rock salt, garam masala, salt, red chilli powder, pepper powder, cloves powder, chaat masala and soda.
  • Now add water as per required and make thick batter from all the ingredients.
  • Make sure that consistency of batter should be as thick as it can stick on peanuts.
  • Now heat oil in kadai, when oil gets heated lower the heat, now put the peanuts in batter and dip nicely.
  • Now put the peanuts in oil and fry till become nice golden brown then take out in a plate and let them cool.
  • Make sure that heat should be lower while frying and layer of batter on peanuts should be thin otherwise they’ll become soft and not taste good.
  • For making sprinkling masala take a bowl and put in chaat masala, rock salt, garam masala, red chilli powder and mix all the spices well and the masala is ready.
  • When sing bhujia become cool sprinkle the masala on it and mix well and serve.
