Hyderabadi kheer recipe is simple, easy and delicious Indian kheer recipe from south Indian cuisine and it is the specialty of Hyderabad. This awesome kheer is very yummy as well as healthy too. It takes a bit more time in cooking but gives really very humorous taste. A good thing about this kheer is that it requires very few simple Indian ingredients.

But what’s better than the special Hyderabadi Kheer puffed up with dry fruits and prepared with so much of milk and rice that simply tend to dissolve in our mouth. Main Ingredients:

2 litres of Milk.
400 gm Sugar.
1 medium size Grated Bottle gourd.

Spices / Other Ingredients:

7-8 Almonds.
8-12 Cashew Nuts.
4 tbsp Chironji.
little bit of Addible Green Colour.

Garnishing / Serving:

Some Dry Fruits.

Hyderabadi Kheer Recipe Preparations:

  • Heat 2 litres of milk.
  • Separate the seeds from ilaichi pods.
  • Use just cardamom seeds and not the skin.
  • Make the powder from 10-12 cardamoms.
  • Add grated Bottle gourd into the Milk, cook this for 20 minutes, add colour in it.
  • When bottle gourd is half cooked add dry fruits in it.
  • Again cook it for another 10-15 minutes.
  • When it is 80% cooked add 400 gm sugar.
  • Cook it for another 10 minutes.
  • Turn the heat off and garnish it with the dry fruits.
