How to Make Churma Modak Recipe.
Churma modak is a very popular Indian sweet or dessert recipe originated from Maharashtra and Marathi cuisine. It is very delicious in taste as well as it is healthy too. Indian peoples oftenly make this easy Churma modak recipe at the time of Ganesh Chaturthi festival and it is said that modak was being the favourite of lord Ganesha in Hindu Religion. It is served as a “Prasad” to the peoples in ganesh Chaturthi festive. It is not just prepared for festival but also in many other special occasions like parties, marriage ceremonies etc…….

Main Ingredients:
2 Cups Wheat Flour.
4 tbsp Semolina.
Spices / other Ingredients:
½ Cup Pure Ghee Melted.
¾ Cup Powdered Sugar.
¼ tsp Green Cardamom Powder.
10-12 Chopped Cashew Nuts.
10-12 Chopped Almonds.
10-12 Raisins.
Milk As Per Requirement.
Churma Modak Preparations:
- Add wheat flour, semolina and ghee in a mixing bowl and mix it well.
- Add milk as per requirement and knead a stiff dough from it.
- Make twelve lemon size balls from dough.
- Heat sufficient amount of ghee.
- Deep fry the balls in ghee till it changes its colour.
- Drain excess oil and take it out in a tissue paper and let it cool down.
- Grind the balls to a coarse mixture.
- Add powdered sugar, cardamom powder, cashew nuts, almonds and raisins to mixture and mix it well with ghee.
- Give the shape to modal with modak mould.
