Ingredients for Gujarati Gram Flour Fingerfood:

Main Ingredients:

1 Cup Gram Flour.
½ Cup Maida.
2 ½ Cup Butter Milk.

Other Spices/Ingredients:

2 tbsp Chopped Coriander Leaves.
1 tbsp Ginger Chilli Paste.
1 tsp Pepper Powder.
1 tbsp Desiccated Coconut Powder.
1 tbsp Sesame Seeds.
1 tsp Garam Masala.
Pinch of Turmeric Powder.
Salt to Taste.
Oil for deep frying.

Garnishing/ Serving:

Tomato Ketchup.

Gujarati Gram Flour Fingerfood Preparations:

  • In a mixing bowl add gram flour, butter milk, salt, turmeric powder and mix it well then beat with an electronic bitter or with spoon.
  • Make sure that there should be no lumps left in mixture.
  • Pour the mixture in a non stick pan and cook it till become very thick.
  • Stir it consistently, it will take around 6-8 minutes then turn the heat off.
  • Add ginger chilli paste, garam masala, sesame seeds, pepper powder, desiccated coconut powder, coriander leaves in mixture.
  • Now mix all the ingredients well then put the mixture in a greased plate and spread evenly and keep aside.
  • In another mixing bowl add plain flour, salt, pepper powder and water as per required and make smooth paste from it.
  • Cut the gram flour mixture in triangle shape, handle the triangles while shifting to plate so it will not break.
  • Now dip the triangles in plain flour paste or batter then put in hot oil for frying, turn the triangles carefully.
  • Cook it for 5-6 minutes then take them out in plate and serve with tomato ketchup and enjoy.
