Naan is the India’s most popular and well known Bread made from all purpose flour or maida, you can have this delicious Indian bread with curries of your choice but in India peoples prefer it with Punjabi curries like Paneer Butter Masala, Paneer Tikka Masala, Palak Paneer etc. There are many kinds of naans are available in India like simple naan, garlic naan, tandoori naan etc.

Main Ingredients:

500 Grams All Purpose Flour (Maida).

Spices / Other Ingredients:

500 ml Milk.
3 tsp Garlic Slices.
1 ½ tsp Soda Bi-Carb.
1 tsp Sugar.
Salt to Taste. 

Easy Naan Recipe Preparations:

  • In the Maida or Plain Four add salt and 1 tsp of sugar.
  • In soda Bi-carb add lemon juice.
  • Add this to the Flour and mix this very well.
  • Add little milk (do this until you get desired dough).
  • With the clean hands mix it very well and make nice dough.
  • Give it rest for at least 1 hour.
  • Sprinkle some flour on to the rolling board.
  • Take the little amount of dough with the help of some plain flour, Keep Spreading it with the help of your fingers.
  • Sprinkle some garlic slices on to the top of the Naan.
  • Press it little with the fingers so all the garlic slices can stick very well to the Naan.
  • Heat the tawa or griddle on gas at very high heat.
  • Put naan for roasting on tawa.
  • Cover it for 1 minute.
  • Put it on to the open flame.
  • Turn it very quickly otherwise it will start burning.
  • Again cook it on tawa at very low heat for just one minute.
  • Take it out and turn the heat off.
