Hello friends today here we are with a chinese cuisine dish which is very popular in India as well as other countries of the world. This is well known as easy chinese bhel recipe and exclusively available at street food shops and carts in Indian cities. Mainly this starter recipe is prepared from fried noodles, cabbage, capsicum, carrot, onions and some sauces and spices. Some of the people uses puffed rice to make chinese bhel but here we have used fried noodles.

You can prepare this quick chinese bhel as a starter and serve in dinner or lunch or have as evening snack is well. The crunchiness of veggies and fried noodles and yummy taste of sauces in this fast food recipe makes everyone mouthwatering. Along with this you may also like some other indo-chinese recipes like veg fingers, noodles cutlet, manchow soup, vegetable spring rolls, gobi Manchurian etc……..

Ingredients for Easy Chinese Bhel Recipe:

Main Ingredients:

Fried Noodles as per required.
3 tbsp Thinly Chopped Cabbage.
3 tbsp Thinly Chopped Capsicum.
3 tbsp Thinly Chopped Onions.
3 tbsp Thinly Chopped Carrot.

Other Spices/Ingredients:

2-3 Drops of Orange Food Colour.
1 Pinch of Ajinomoto.
Salt as per taste.
1 tbsp Oil.
Some chopped cabbage, onion, carrot and capsicum for salad.

Sauce Ingredients:

1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste.
3 tbsp Tomato Ketchup.
1 tsp Red Chilli Sauce.
1 tbsp Vinegar.
1 tsp Soy Sauce.
1 tsp Sugar.
1 tbsp Oil.

Easy Chinese Bhel Recipe Preparations:

  • First heat oil in a non stick kadai, when oil gets hot add in ginger garlic paste and saute nicely.
  • Now add in tomato ketchup, vinegar, soy sauce and sugar then add in 2-3 tbsp water and cook till it starts boiling.
  • When it starts boiling turn the heat off, bhel sauce is ready.
  • Now heat oil in a kadai then add in chopped cabbage, capsicum, carrots, onions and mix well.
  • Now add in ajinomoto, salt, orange food colour and mix well.
  • Cook veggies for little time then immediately add in sauce because if you cook veggies for more time then they will become soft and not taste good.
  • After adding bhel sauce cook it for 1 minute then turn the heat off.
  • Now let the bhel cool for some time, when it become cool put friend noodles in and mix well and serve.
  • After adding fried noodles serve the bhel immediately with salad otherwise noodles will become soft and not taste good.
